Interesting research linking the body clock to something that has gone through about a billion years of evolution. In that time the length of a day has increased due to interactions between the earth and the moon relating to tidal breaking (START PRINTPAGEMultimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or RegisterEND PRINTPAGE). 600 million years ago a day was only about 22 hours long, so this mechanism has evolved to match this change.

I just wonder if any of this new research can be used down the road to help find a cure etc .
I always thought the Hypothalmus controled our body's clock........
