The list isn't just for neuros and headache specialist.
If your doctor/family physical is CH friendly and has helped you..let us know, please. Simply state what kind of doctor he/she is. Thanks |

I've heard good things about a Dr. Gawal from Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto and have referred a couple of Canadian folks to his service.
As for me, my own family doctor is an absolute rock and when last in cycle - he researched right along with me. In fact, he is the one that directed me to this site several years ago. I bless him and all of you on a very regular basis. Carol |

My GP until my job change and ins change was Dr Karen Burgner at Dreyer Medical Clinic in Aurora IL. Headaches are her hobby as she has several migraineurs in her family. She also has a couple of other CH patients, but couldn't put me in touch with them due to HIPAA. She was excellent to work with, and I've not bothered with a Neuro for several years after firing the last one. She would basically do what ever I asked for saying, "You probably know more about CH than most Neuros". I would recommend her highly.

Is there a meaning on the list,as some docs prior to his or her name says Dr. and the majority just have a name?
example #1 Dr. Hung Low Yee example #2 Molly Poppins I was trying to figure this out myself...Thinking the one's that say Dr. prior to the name are neo.spc. (for clusters) and the rest were reg. docs that helped people with our condition... |

No meaning Lenny. The Dr. page had info input directly by the patient. They filled out an on-line form and when submitted, the program automatically entered the info on the page. It all depended on if the sufferer entered the Doc's name with the Dr. in front or not.

When I am finished revising the list I will have in place indicators that will tell a user what type of Doctor is listed.
I'm about halfway through what has become quite a task. I am verifying each listing with what I deem to be reliable info from the web or a phone call. Hopes are to be finished with the US List by the end of the weekend. Canada will come next...... |

Thank-you so much Bill! Amazing what a difference one person/volunteer can make (and I'm not talking about our webmistresses, they already know what I think of them).
