I wonder if anyone knows how many lives in the last 13 yrs. were LITERALLY saved by this place being here. Myself being one of them.

It boggles my mind.

Besides starting it in the first place, you have kept this place up and running at your own expense all these years. Thank you isn't enough. :-*

Like Charlie...just DESPERATELY searching for something...anything. Had been helped immensely by (at the time, National Migraine Foundation)...who turned me on to O2...but it was snail mail newsletters and NOT family.

Tried to sign on to ch.com...no go...asked some guy named DJ for help...no idea who he was...figured some website nerd...and just another "non" understander. He led me through the "problems"... which were probably my pc.... with patience and a genuine concern that I found amazing.

When I finally made it...the introductory page had me in tears...the whole evening...and sometimes even laughter...while reading the most horrifying stories imaginable. I think my fellow clusterheads can understand this...if a non ch laughed I'd probably come unglued on 'em...but when you find HOME and a FAMILY...and you understand what you're reading...that very few do...well, forgive me if I'm wrong.

I sometimes wonder where I'd be...or if I'd be... without ch.com...but I don't worry anymore....

To quote Thomas Jefferson re Edward Jenner (yes a repeat, and I don't care, as it applies to DJ):

I avail myself of this occasion of rendering you a portion of the tribute of gratitude due to you from the whole human (ch) family. Medicine has never before produced any single improvement of such utility. Yours is the comfortable reflection that (ch) mankind can never forget that you have lived.

I probably never would have offed Bob P but the people on this site stopped me from inflicting quite a lot of pain upon him. ;)

By happenstance and circumstance I found this place and all of you in it. Thus, I have reaped the friendships I would have never known, and learned a lot in the process.

It's amazing to see what change one person's idea (DJ), like a matchstick, can light - now there is the sun shining for so many.
