anyone tried? anyone heard of this? Side effects.... Doc just put me on it... said I should be alright other than some heartburn ?

It's used for one of the minor variants of CH but not the usual CH (common variety). Works quickly and you will know in a few days whether it works for you.

If you end up using it for months, doc will guide you on how to protect your stomach from damage.

My gP tried me on this and it had zero effect for me, it may work for others but didnt for me

Like Bob said, it's used to treat chronic paroxysmal hemicrania (CPH) but usually does nothing for CH.

As above -
one of the older non-steroidal anti-inflammatories - great for gout and chronic paroxysmal hemicrania. 
Not usually helpful for CH.
