Title: Great 60 minutes show on the younger people.
Post by BigMatt on Apr 27th, 2011 at 2:36pm
I work with a few but one of these Millennium generation people yesterday threw me under the bus in a meeting with our boss. She had told me information in several conversations about a billing problem with a vendor in the past couple months and my boss wanted to meet about it so I walk in and sit down and when she lays out what is going on all the information about what happened has changed from what she had told me so not only do I look bad not knowing what is going on but I have alienated a vendor and dam near accused them of trying to rip us off because of the misinformation she had been giving me. I reminded her of our conversations and what she had told me only to get a blank stare and a “do you have an email from me on that?” so I guess talking is no good and from hear out I will have to have everything dealing with her in email so I can prove she said what she said. So 60 minutes last night was great and dealt with these young people and it explained a lot, if you have time watch this before they take it down.
I was not in trouble from my boss as well and she know the games this person plays so she believed me and it was not a big thing in the first place just do not like getting blindsided is all.

Every time I hear "email me about it" I want to say "Bite me!"
Back in my working days I had to call another worker about a problem and all I got was "Email me". So, I did. The email said "Call me". He called and got an
ass-chewin'. Never got a "email me' message again.

I just want to know what happened to the days when you did what the boss said and the boss called the shots now it seems most of them do what these young spoiled brats want and they are afraid to hurt their feelings which is why they are the way they are in the first friggen place. I know not all 20 something’s out there are like this but a good portion of them are and for those that are not, glad you are the way you are and decided to live in reality with the rest of us.

Good question. What generation raised all those rude, self centered, smart mouthed, cell phone sucking little turds?

No,wait. Let me rethink the question a little bit.

Never mind.
