I made it. I rode a bicycle from San Diego California to Saint Augustine Florida, with 12 equally insane people. This is the gang at the Atlantic ocean. Have missed my CH family, glad to be heading home.

You'll never be the same again Joe. I'm proud of you for living your dream and very glad you didn't try it all alone like you were going to do in the beginning.

What's next is getting to know my poor, long suffering wife again! Buns of steel....ummm...not exactly. Still looking for soft places to sit, hoping time will heal what shammy butt'r didn't prevent! ;D

Wow! I am so amazed and proud of your accomplishment. I wanted to go on a bicycle trip from LA to San Francisco riding down Hwy 1 when I was 16 with the Girl Scouts. However, I was not selected for this wider opportunity and was instead selected for an international opportunity to go live with a family in Mexico for a month. I was bumbed out I really wanted the bike trip and I was so upset I didn't get it I turned down the trip to Mexico. One of lifes regrets. I did however, as a girl scout bike all over the state of Wisconsin and its hills, bluffs, and valleys every summer and camped out in the evenings and eating over an open fire. I miss those days! Good for you for pursuing your dreams and desires.

And I'd say his legs did a fabulous job peddling him all that way! Mine would have become jellow after the first 2 miles! lol
