Got my first cluster at 58 didn't hit me again till this week now 61 when to a doctor both times and diagnosed as cluster, going for MRI tomorrow because of age any thoughts on this? Thanks

You're at the age when new Cluster cases are uncommon and they may mimic other, often, more serious conditions.
Suggest you print out this file and give to the doc. Ask what he thinks. Link to: cluster-LIKE headache. Yes it does happen that some get CH late in life but it's still worth checking for anything more sinister before settling on CH. I didn't get it till just before I turned 50 & then had a 5 year remission before it came back & I've been chronic since, now 62. My thought is if it is supposed to get you early in life & go away as you get older then I am going to have to live till I am around 150 years old to prove the theory. :D Cheers Barry |
