Hi,
I just wanted to check if anyone else has received an email from a complete stranger. It said they have CH's and they saw me on Cluster headaches.com and would I email them back with how I cope? How did they get my email address - just seems dodgey to me :-?

I have no clue how they got your address and I have not recieved anything. Maybe someone else will have an idea.

Some of us list our email, but I note that you do not, so I have no idea how they got it unless it is someone you know who recognized something from one of your posts.

That's funny. When I click on your name, your profile comes right up and your e-mail, is indeed right there.

Maybe it's only visible to moderators....it's not visible to the rest of us.

I had an email about a week ago from someone saying they had got my email addy from this website. indian sounding name. didnt reply just deleted it. did seem dodgy to me!!

I get PMs, but occasionally e-mails.

If you're not sure - PM them here and see if they are legit. someone may be questioning something you said on the board and may need help.

We get kooks from time to time, but we also get people needing help. I've always been one for giving the benefit of the doubt until proven different. But that's me..

That sound very similar to this one. Why would anyone email you about CH when they found your email address on the best possible site for information?
