Hey I know I haven't been here in a long time.  My new status is x wife of a sufferer and I don't know where that puts me on the grand scale that is Ch.com.  I just wanted to come in to say hi and ask for prayer for my son Scott.
Scott and his family has come to stay with me for pretty much the whole Summer.  He is undergoing surgery to remove a tumor that is taking up a huge section of the pons in his medula.  Its a meningioma so that is good...problem its in a really bad place.  He was supposed to have the surgery a year and a half ago (right before Dave left me)and it was cancelled due to the fact that the docs didn't think he had enough symptoms to take the risk.  They said they would monitor it and it has grown in such a rapid rate that they figure if they don't take it out it will kill him in a year.
He leaves for Dallas next week with plans for surgery around the 27th 28th... I am not going this time.  Shino and the kids are staying here with me.  Most of you guys are my friends on facebook and can contact me there.  It breaks my heart to come here so I don't.  I miss you all... and I still long for a marriage that was a lie for a long time that I didn't know it.  It has taken me a long time to move on.
I don't usually ask for prayer for myself... but throw one in for me.  Life has to change, I could use a break.  I just took Imatrex about an hour ago and its finally kickin in~~

Oh Ree, first I'm sorry about the migraine.  It's bad enough dealing with the stress you're feeling without some sort of head pain on top of it.  Secondly, you have all the positive thoughts and prayers I can muster for Scott.

You are one of us, no matter what happened with Dave.  You were one of the first to welcome me to this loony bin, and I'll never forget that.  I'll be praying for your migraine, plus all the other stuff you have going on. 

Scott has been on my prayer list for a long time, I just didn't know anything new to pray about.  We'll definitely be praying about the surgery.  Shino and the kids are in our prayers too.

You are loved, whether you are here to receive it or not.

I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with so many things all at once, but you are family here, as has been stated, and *that* fact won't change anytime soon.  I still remember how much fun we had in NY - it would be great to see you again!  We can compare notes about Breezy and Andee - hard to believe our girls are 17 going on 18!

Thanks all... I will definately keep you posted on whats happening here.. Scott and Shino just got back from enjoying Bermuda... and took the kids to Maine.  They definately enjoy each minute such a sweet family... here is a pic of my Breezy her boy friend Matt and my grand kids Matthew Michael and Ayano... so precious... (look what Dave is missing) Scott leaves Monday with his brother and Dad to go to Dallas.  Thanks so much for all of the prayer and welcoming... I love you all its just heartbreaking ~~I came here for Dave... but I will stay here because you are my friends.

Well I don't want to jump the gun but Scott's surgery went well yesterday.  It was 11 hours and he so far has minimal side effects from the surgery.  I thank you for all of your love prayer and support. It will be a little bit of a ride back to where he was but I am ready for anything.  He woke up, can talk and that giant tumor is gone.
