how do i know for sure that my cycle is over...any help plz...im new to this online thing..been having ch since i was 18 and now im going on 25..  :-/

Sadly there is no good answer to that. For me, they fade in over a period of weeks to peak cycle, then fade out the same way. My rule of thumb is 2 weeks completely pain free and I start to slowly ramp down on my prevent. It's different for everyone and will even vary from cycle to cycle. :(

thanks for the info...ur the 1st person i have ever talked to that has ch aswell...i started my cycle about a month ago...got hit everyday...2nd day without getting hit..hope its over

Welcome to the board, I'm so glad you found us. I know what you mean, it's nice to talk to someone about the beast without a 20 minute explanation of what the hell it is! ;)

Do you have a decent prevent med? Oxygen? any other abortives? Are you working with a doc who has at least a clue what CH is??? Maybe we can steer you to a litle less pain.

yea it does feel good talking to someone that has ch too...i know u feel my pain...i have never taken any meds for it..i have gone to the docs but is wasnt any help..they just gave me pain killers...

Brew is spot on. There is too damned much available these days to help alleviate the pain. Energy drinks, oxygen, imitrey, prevents like verapamil, lithium and topomax. Read these two links:

thanks guys...when im in cycle i drink a red bull and pop 2 excedrin every morning...it helps a bit
