I was getting ready to go home and while backing my forklift up when the view really struck me. So, yes - I grabbed my camera and tried to capture what I was seeing.

I took several shots but this one says it best from the group:

That is fantastic. Those fluffy days are hard to come by and you captured it just right!!

The last one I took like that was probably about 5 yrs ago while sitting on the deck enjoying a glass of rhubarb wine. [smiley=grin2.gif]

For some reason that picture is seared into my brain.

Anyway, I'm sure this one will be in yours too?

Great composition!

Did you move the clouds to align with the river or move the river? Getting them lined up like that isn't too easy.

That would make a good jigsaw puzzle, although it'd be a tough one to solve.

I'll be at a massive family reunion in South Lake Tahoe. All seven of us kids, most of our kids and some of their kids and a bunch more will be there. My Dad is turning 89 too.

Mighty clouds in the first. Nice scene the second. I like the long length or the river visible, and the clouds do seem to flow with it up around the bend. :)

Any meandering bass flowing along in there, too?

There are not many legitimate excuses for missing the convention....but I gotta give you that one! ;) Too bad, I'd love to see your camera work around this crazy group!
