hey all well I got some bad new's today from my headache specialist look's like I dont have hermicrainia continua as i was diagnosed after a cluster cycle back in dec 09 from my specialist in miami i am back in nyc since march was away in florida for over a year and my specialist here Dr newman (excellent doc) that I have been seeing once a month diagnosed me with cluster's agin since I have been in a headache cycle and the indomethcin ( # 1 line prevent wasnt keeping headaches at bay any more! :( my hit's are not so bad but that is cause the indo so we are doing a pred taper and i started verapamil today. Just sharing my story and dont really know if I am chronic although I have not been what we call shadows since my last cycle dec 09 till april 10. Look forward to input and support u all!

Anthony...would you be willing to share your Doctors name and address with me? Bill Mingus is trying to update the "sufferer reccomended Doctors" list at O.U.C.H. and if you are o.k. with pm-ing me with the info I'll send it along to him.

Getting a good and informed Doctor is one of the things we consider a priority and anytime one of us find one we like to share that with newcomers.

I get your disappointment but hey, you get to hang around with this great bunch of CH dudes and dudettes! And there is life in between hits. Focus on what you got and how to deal with the beast when it comes a'knockin'. Blessings. lance

When we finally decide we have to take personal control and know what our Doctors don't, we start the road to managing CH. Attack the beast with all you can muster.
