Title: Life is finally back to normal....for now
Post by Mike Bernardo on Aug 19th, 2011 at 1:36pm
My usual fall cycle that lasted mostly from last October has finally ended. I just finished my taper off of Topiramate last week. The fog has finally lifted from that wonderful little pill as well. The one good thing that came from CH for me is the amount of running I now do to keep my lungs pumping and the O2 flowing, esp during a hit. Probably the one oddball thing is that, as the cycle was ending, I was actually a little depressed. As much as we all hate this thing of ours, when it goes away, after being with you so much, it does something to you. Part of it seems to be that ability to adjust to the pain, and the rest is the fear of when it will be back. I found it odd that I almost "missed" my daily HAs and the pain that I felt (not that I missed it for long). Not sure if that makes sense to anyone, but thought I'd share. I am happily PF, and realistically expecting my next cycle in about 2 months, if the trend holds up. Hoping you all have many PF days, as well.
Mike

Yeah, I find it odd too. You need to get over that. ;)

Seriously, pain free is good. Happy to hear it.

Great news, here's hoping you skip a cycle just for the heck of it! ;)
