Title: Pitch Black Sleep.. conincidence or does it help?
Post by B on Sep 19th, 2011 at 3:23pm
Hi all!

Quick question for you.. Hubby suffers (and finally has O2.. yaaay!).. he's been sleeping badly due to you know who.. and so have I (obviously).

Then last weekend we went away and stayed somewhere that had blackout curtains so we were sleeping in absolute pitch black, and we both slept through!

Now we have done the same at home and hubby still is sleeping thru!  :D happy days!

Anyone else experience this?

Bex

I have my room as dark as possible with dark green curtains and shades covering windows.  Makes it great for sleeping.  It doesn't affect whether or not I get a night time CH hit though.  Would be nice if it did!

Congrats on the O2!

A player on a streak doesn't mess with the streak.

To be honest with you, I've slept in both pitch black and slightly light rooms while in cycle. Never noticed a difference (not that I was keeping close tabs on it - I just don't remember any difference).

I've not noticed any difference myself. However there may be more than just CHs involved, so the black out is helping you sleep better avoiding a sleep issue.

Well must admit my hubby altho diagnosed with CH is definitely not ATypical.

Most characteristics are the same, but his hit's are much shorter than what you lot report on here! (Which I'm so glad of!) and he does have a few other "side effects"..
But like you, it hurts like hell and o2 helps!

So any thing else that helps we both jump at :)

Wishing you all PF days! x
