Title: Aghhh They're Back...
Post by Kate in Oz on Oct 2nd, 2011 at 7:45am
Silly me, I thought if I stayed away and if I tried really hard not to think at all about clusters they'd go away... it's been nearly a year but it seems they're back  :( not happy!!

I wonder if it has anything to do with recent gloating that this was the first time in 9 years that I hadn't had a cycle  :-/  hhmmmmf

P.S. Daylight savings for us started today - spring

I have so been there......done that Katie. For many yeras, off cycle I never visited here, never THOUGHT about CH, no one in my home was allowed to even ask me about it. All for fear it would bring back the beast. I'm so sorry he came back......but by now you know, he always does.  [smiley=hug.gif]

Not staying involved here cost me big time. I feel I could have avoided a good portion of what I went through in the last 4 years simply by staying up to date on what people here are finding that works. If you haven't already, check out the sister site clusterbusters.com
Don't ignore the beast... he won't ignore you.

I'm with you completely on this one, Kate. Reckon that recent win by the AllBlacks might be the cause?

Hope not as the ABs are about to win their next three games (otherwise the whole country will be forming a lynch mob!!!).

Sorry the beast dragged you back. Hopefully it won't last as long as the Wallabies trip to NZ before they get knocked out at the Cake Tin at the weekend.

For those of you not clued up, the Rugby World Cup is happening right now in New Zealand. There is a "small" rivalry between New Zealand (All Blacks) and Australia (Wallabies). Of course the All Blacks are the best and I'm totally unbiased...

Thanks for the love :-)

Don't know about the Allblacks being reason for the beastly return.  Do know that I was not happy when Hawthorn got knocked out of the finals tho' :(

Good to see nothing much has changed around here.

Take care everyone  :)

Hey TTNolan,

Thanks for the advice :-)  I do know of clusterbusters but can't really go that route - single parent family here and well its just slightly naughty  ;)

I know I'll get through the cycle, we always do yes, just was kind of hoping that I might have outgrown them - getting old an all  8-)

getting old an all

With all the indignities of aging....you'd think they'd throw us a bone and make CH disappear! ;)

One thing I've just realised is the title of this post. In NZ and Oz it doesn't have the same meaning at all as it does in the US and UK by a long, long way. It's just a very mild expression of annoyance and perfectly acceptable to use in places like at work (it's even been on TV adverts at prime time here in NZ).

Yes Mike, you're quite right  ::)  I'll see if I can change it...

Done  :)

Good call, Mike. You'd reckon those overseas wallahs would at least learn to talk proper.

Hola, Kate! Howdy, guys! So I guess this is the time of year folks start straggling back in, hmm? Such as Lucas and I, for example! My sufferer had a shadow scare yesterday- so we're tightening up his dosage on vitamin D and I got the oxygen tank out, bolted to the wall again, and regulator ready to go tonight. Melatonin ready. And I'm here! Ha!

Here is a wish for sleep filled nights and the shortest cycles
anybody's ever had! I feel like Sophmore year just started!

Hey Lauren  :)

Happy to see you but sorry for the reason.  It is good to know that we are not alone in our suffering and that there is somewhere to come when the beasty strikes!

Hope your partner has a quick cycle and that the 02 works it's wonders.

Take care,

Kate
