Anyone who thinks living in the country is boring -- think again...

Last week we had a call from a neighbor that her dogs had killed a rabid skunk -- so we had to have all our animals REvaccinated...

That's no problem EXCEPT we've got three cats that don't like humans, so we've had to set traps to catch the little darlings (so far they ain't taking the bait).

then Friday night our house gets "invaded" by Houston Relatives - apparently they don't have hunting in Houston so they come to the country for the winter...

then I-son goes out yesterday morning to find his truck has been "vandalized" - yep in three places the word "ASS" has been nicely written with a rock. After "hours" of interogation we find out that his oldest son got "angry" at him and thought his dad was an ass and decided to let everyone know about it. Oh I know it's not funny and Caleb is going to be punished really harshly, but ...

His best argument was, "But I made the A honor roll." He didn't get to go to the Halloween carnival last night - stayed home with Granny and I got him to bed and "hopefully" asleep before his mother got home. She's already gone to work this morning, so we won't have to listen to her yelling (and she does do that).

Between rabid skunks and vandalized autos - it's been an exciting week at the farm... hope everyone else's week was milder...  :-*
