First Draft - And it may not be finished. I feel like there is another bit to it yet. So, a work in progress.


Deep into my cranium it reaches
As loud as a banshee screeches
Without warning it strikes
Left eye or right, day and night.

A demon it is, that lives inside my head
It drives me to wish I were dead
There are no words for this level of pain
Enough hurt to drive one insane

Quick as it comes, it goes
Leaving me spent, from my head to my toes
Curled in a ball I weep
Utterly drained, if only I could sleep.
