hi, I am 21 years old and have suffered with chronic cluster headaches for 5 years, I have an appointment with a neurologist this month in London, UK to discuss some surgery they do on the most serious cases but I am not sure what the operation is, I was wondering did anybody else have any ideas on what it could be? thanks

There are a couple of surgical options. One is where they cut the trigeminal nerve. One is the ONS Implant. Here's a link to someones blog who had it done for migrain:

We don't see these types of surgery much as their success rate is still pretty dismal, and the potential side effects can be pretty extreme. Have you been unsuccesful with the more standard treatments? The more common abortives are Sumatriptan injections and nasal sprays and Oxygen. Verapamil, Topomax and Lithium are commonly used prevents to reduce number and intensity of your attacks.
