Title: Daylight Savings Time
Post by bm7680 on Dec 9th, 2011 at 12:48am
My current cycle started when we changed the clocks back an hour about 6 weeks ago so it proves there is def a link with the time change. I just don't know when this damn cycle is going to end as I thought I would have adjusted to the time change by now. Has anyone had a cycle start with the time changes and how long does that cycle last?

I doubt it's the time change itself, more likely it's linked to the seasons. There seems to be a lot of people who start a cycle in spring or autumn (fall).

It's also possible it's from even the slightest change in your sleep schedule. I may be unique here (but I don't think so); a lack of sleep DEFINITELY triggers my headaches. I'm chronic though, so I can't speak as much about episodic cycles. Did your sleep change with the time or were you still able to get the same amount?

The only thing I noticed about DST is that my nightly 5am attacks started at 4am.

This time around it all started in the fall just after the time change.  The previous cycle started around March as the days were getting longer and the temps warming up here in Minnesota.

I believe that I agree with its start being more related to the time of year than the 1 hour daylight savings change.  My number of hours slept per night doesnt change by more than an hour.

I have been episodic for 8 or so years now.  2 years off 1-3 months on.
