HI all! I have been suffering from these headaches for 23 yrs! It was always assumed by every Dr. that these were sinus headaches, since I have bad chronic sinusitis. (I am 56). I never could find one medication that helped my headaches. And not Dr. could make ANY sense out of my swollen eyelids everytime i got these headaches and ended up on Prednisone (endless times). I finally went to a neurologist 2 days ago and she prescribed me Verapamil, Zomig, and Prednisone for 4 days. After a week of total torture (not to mention the 23 yrs. of this) I took a Zomeg and it helped a lot! I can't believe I suffered so long like this without any help. I also have a colloid cyst in my brain that was found when I went to the ER with a massive headache, so they did a CT scan and found the cyst. This was Oct. 2010. I am getting an MRI this week to see if it has grown (hopefully not) because a lot of these headache symptoms are also symptoms of that thing growing. But since I have had these headaches for many many years, I doubt the cyst has grown. The neurologist did mention that oxygen could help a lot. I see her again in 1 month, and I bet she will prescribe it. In the meantime, I am having trouble navigating this forum. I keep reading about links on the left side. Where? And how do I find all about the Oxygen stuff? How do i get to it it? And also the store. I want to make sure i get the proper oxygen apparatus and do this right! Thanks friends!!
