I just received my Optimask in the mail yesterday and wouldn't you know I needed to use it last night.  Well, I'll tell you what, that thing is AMAZING.

If you have O2 and a Non-ReBreather that you fight with, this mask was so easy to use.  I was able to concentrate on breathing instead of trying to concentrating on convering the openings of the NRB mask. 

Now I just need to get a different regulator because it wasn't filling up nearly fast enough.

That is awesome news. The reps from Lifegas spoke at one of our conventions. The guy freely admitted it's not a money maker for them, they're just not enough of us. They're some good people there. So glad to hear it's working for you. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

You can get regulators at on ebay...25 lpm high flow baby. Glad you got relief. Happy huffin. Allegedly you cant get a high flow regulator from your 02 supplier unless the script indicates a flow rate requiring a higher flow rate regulator....YMMV

Careful getting regulators from ebay or secondhand as the connection may not fit your tank despite the flow rate.

You can go to Harbor Freight Tools theya re in many states and pick up a welders regulator brand new for $35 bucks.  The flow rate will keep up with however fast you need to hyperventilate.

You can also custom order a high flow regulator from FloTec out of Indianapolis.  Costs about $125 and will provide up to 60 lpm.  Ask for Ashley.

Harbor Freight is on my list of places to go ... I was waiting for the new mask to get here and see how my regulator worked with it.  Since it isn't so great .... off to Harbor Freight I must go!

FYI....Welder regulators from Harbor Freight will fit on the larger tanks, but not the small.

Everyone I know that has gotten one there is happy with them and they are much more economical. You get what you order. That is a possibility I suppose, however not probable unless you order the wrong one. Some of us dont have alot of money. :-*

My comment to be cautious when ordering from ebay has nothing to do with $.  My caution was strictly in regard to the connection fitting between the regulator and tank.

Unless one can visually see the regulator at a store such as Harbor Freight Tools or custom order a regulator from FloTec, etc; it is important to understand that just because it is a high flow regulator does not necessarily mean it will fit your tank. 

In other words....smaller tanks such as E tanks do not use the same connection that a larger tank such as an M tank would.

E and D tanks require a CGA 870 connector.

and M, H and T tanks require a CGA540 connector.

I too got a welding regulator, love it. Easy to adjust to start high flow, and back off for the last 5 min - my m tanks are also cga-540, but my supplier has smaller tanks with the same connector, so I think you should ask your supplier.
