Last night we tried out a caterer... that was fun.. the food was great and we all approved. We decided to hire her for the reunion.

We're really having a great time "planning" this thing. Since we're repsonsible for the All School Reunion also, we're doing double duty and having to deal with the BOD of the Former Students Assoc. Mostly we're getting "our way" and really having fun.

I didn't know getting old could be so much fun, but I'm doing the Memory Book (about 200 pages of OUR PAST) and people are coming up with pictures that NO ONE remembers. Girl brought a newspaper clipping from the early 50s last night with NAMES and I had the picture, but didn't have the names... imagine MY surprise when I found out "I" was in the picture. And I waz really a cutie :). I was churning butter for Thanksgiving or something like that.

If we have half the fun AT the reunion that we're having planning it - well it's gonna be something else. Can't wait till Sept...

Now if I can just keep Mr. CH away...  :P don't have time for him right now...

Yep Kevin - that be the one -- course that waz on the FIRST Thanksgiving -- I remember it well... them Indians just showed up for dinner and we had to make do... ;)

Oh (raising hand to change subject) I just got an e-mail with some trivia on it - AND Dr. Pepper was INVENTED in TEXAS and NOT Vegas as Bob G has been telling us... That ought to deflate his ego somewhat.. ;D ;D
