I'm so PROUD of me... Got all my extensions filed yesterday and took the day off and am taking today off too...

In fact I took the day off to go with my DIL to look for a new truck.. and while we were looking... well, there was this SILVER Silverado that just jumped out at me and yelled "Barbara here I am!!"

Gosh, it's purdy... silver upholstry with the LXZ package (all the bells whistles) and it's sitting in my driveway... My DIL didn't find what she was looking for, but Granny sure did and she wasn't looking.

She (DIL) was cracking up - they were doing the paperwork while we took it for a test drive. Don't take me long to make a decision. Now I've got to figure out what all the buttons do..  :)

And I've already gotten an OnStar report that told me everything is working ok (that's important you know.. they send me one a month just to let me know what needs to be done). Ya'll come over and I'll take ya for a ride... (that is if I'm not working at my second job to pay for the thing.. ;)).  :-* :-*

We here in Oz have a lovely name for the Tax Department but every time I try to type it in I get "Refer ch.com Standard of Conduct".

Ah well.

Good for you, Barbara. You go girl! Silverados were invented in Vegas.

I want a new truck also but I'd have to get a job to pay for it and the Lord knows I ain't gonna do that.

Barbara,that is one very nice truck you got there...now if you all want to brag about your state and what came from there...i feel as i must stand up for Kalifornia and throw just a few of our accomplishments (1) crack cocaine (2) transgender (3) midget olive-oil wrestling (with a hint of garlic) ...now there are many more (i just don't want to come off as i am bragging too much) for our state,so i will keep it simple  :D :D :D :D :D.....Lenny

1. Crack cocaine was invented in vegas and just kinda drifted over to us.

2.  Not going there.

3. Don't know about midgets and wrestling, but Calif. has some of the best olive oil this side of Italy.  Garlic was invented in Gilroy, Ca.

4.  Lenny, you forgot Beverly hills 91201, surfers and 'Valley speak' which revolutionized how teenagers talk, (fer shure dude)  seaweed & Tofu on every menu.  movie stars, swimming pools..oops, sorry bout that.  The "Bevererly hillbillies" theme song just gave me an ear worm.
