Hi need some advice Been refused DLA don't know what to do got the letter this morning :( I have asked for a review of the claim they said it could take up to 12weeks thing that is annoying me is that they said they contacted my consultant then got a letter couple aweek ago saying there contacting my gp and they used my gp report to make the decision my gp does not treat me for cluster headaches he basically knows nothing about them so why have they used his report? Where do I stand is there any help or info I can send to DLA about cluster headaches thanks in advance

Is your GP not responsible for coordinating your overall care? Could he not contact your neuro or refer them to him?

Thanks for the reply I phoned them up they told me that they only need 1 report and got that from my gp but the sent a letter before hand saying they are writing to my neuro my doctor doesn't know how it affects me or my life
