so my doctor say's it sounds like i have cluster headaches. started last week when it felt like my head had been cracked open and nearly passed out lasted 3-5 mins and had a really bad nose bleed at the same time the next day my hands and arms went numb and i had a panic attack for a week i was writhing down every bit of pain and then went to my gp with it and he sed that he think it's cluster headaches i have not had bad headaches like this before and now i have some codeine most of the pain has gone but i don't think my self that i have the right amount of pain to say its a cluster headache unless it starts off not to bad then later on it gets more painful. i have been getting chest pain to and i don't know where that comes in to this any help would be nice thank you Rowbs

Your doctor can't tell you if you have CH, but we can? We're not doctors, and nobody here would presume to be able to diagnose you.

You need to get to a headache specialist for a confirmed diagnosis. There are other disorders that mimic CH - some of them very nefarious - which need to be ruled out.

Think of it this way: If your doc started treating you for CH and didn't rule out a brain tumor, don't you think that would be a little bit irresponsible on his part?

thats a really good point and the one thing my mum is think im going to book my self in for some blood test's see what that comes up with as my doc sed to do that

As an initial diagnostic step for ANYONE who suspects they may suffer from CH, you need to have your doc order an MRI of your head to rule out the really bad stuff.

so i go docs to moz seen i have head a headache now for 2 days and last night got a really bad one that made me full like i was not going to come out of the other side alive i want it to be something else something that can be fixed i don't want this :(
