Gonna be working a 56-hour week (two jobs), most of it at the Apple Store. Which, if you haven't been, is just about the epicenter of the retail universe at this time of year. In fact, both Wal-Mart and Best Buy have declared to shareholders that their success this year will, in large part, hinge on getting enough Apple product to sell. Gulp.

The only thing new about this year will be doing it as a CCHead. Double-gulp.

According to today's Bloomberg report Best Buy is about to become a has-been. If you have stock in Best Buy don't sell it yet....you'll loose big time. If you are thinking of buying the stock, don't.

I know I'm a woman and should understand this BUT why in the name of creation would "normally" sane people get up before daylight and go to a store to trample over each other for "fun"?

I've just NEVER understood that one and Never engaged in it.

But then I'm CHEAP .. Caleb and I usually MAKE our Christmas gifts. We put LOVE into them instead of money.

I survived! Lol. I setup about 40 iPad/iPod/iPhones yesterday, plus half a dozen MacBook/MacBook Airs. I reset lots of passwords, too. But I got to be part of a little boy setting up an iPad for his mom (surprise!) and a 70 y/o man setting up an iPad for his wife.

I don't know why folks need to shop like this on the day after Thanksgiving, but at least we got them through it with style. I'm proud of my coworkers at Apple.  :)

I admire anyone in retail that works black Friday......I wouldn't for anything...

Aw, that's so neat!  I don't work out of the home right now, but it's things like this that make me love working as a cashier.  I LOVE helping people!  Especially when they are nice people, LOL!
