Hi everyone. Has anyone ever heard of Zipsor used for Clusters. Went to a new neurologist and he prescribed Zipsor 25mg, Periactin 4mg and a Pred. taper i am very familiar with Pred. taper but have never heard of the other 2. Anyone? Effectiveness, Side effects that you may have experienced ect.?

A couple of other folks have tried the Periactin...Sounds like it might be mildly helpful for some cluster sufferers sometimes.  (to me that sounds like a most likely not helpful category...)  Mostly used for migraines, not clusters.

The Zipsor is better known as Diclofenac and it's really just a strong Ibuprofen like drug.  Again, mostly used in migraines, not clusters.

If you're intent on trying these, I think I might try to get your Neuro to give you this--sounds a bit more effective (at least for migraines)
