Hello, i was looking for any one who has actually been diagnosed with cervicogenic headaches. i have read some archives and done some research and i do believe i get this type of headache and i was hoping to talk to someone who is or has been treated for this type of headache. thanks.

Diagnostic criteria have been established for cervicogenic headache, but its presenting characteristics occasionally may be difficult to distinguish from primary headache disorders such as migraine, tension-type headache, or hemicrania continua
That's a new one on me, with it's link to the trigeminal and the above criteria sounds like it's as tough to diagnose as CH. Joe |

I have read the artical"cervicogenic Headache: A review of diagnostic and treatment strategies" and it seems the only difference between ch and cgh headaches are neck pain but there may be no evidence of trauma. my experience has been that i get neck pain on left side first then it shifts to right side and triggers ch cycle. after cycle ends im left with neck pain again.
