Title: New to O2 - questions Post by cyclist7531 on Feb 6th, 2013 at 7:19pm
I visited my long time PCP today and discussed where I'm at with my cluster headaches. He agreed to prescribe O2 and also had my 25(OH)D tested. So, got a call when I got home from Apria and they are going to deliver O2 today. Apparently, the Rx was for 15LPM and a cannela. So, I plan on ordering an optimask today, but not sure about getting a different regulator. I'm out of cycle right now as far as my headaches go but do have plenty of Imitrix if I feel one coming on. Anyway, just looking for some advice with the O2.
I should have my D3 test results back tomorrow which I'll post here and depending upon that number I'll may also start the D3 anti-inflammatory regimen. Thanks, Mark |

15 lpm works for some but is definitely the low end for delivery. Definitely get the mask, then give it a shot at the 15 LPM. With any luck the D-3 regimen will make it all academic and we'll never know if it works or not. ;)
Your name is cyclist......ya bicycle much??? Joe |

Thanks. I'll definitely order the mask and as you note hopefully won't be needing it much. As for cycling, yes, but not as much as I used to. Typcially, I was doing 200-250 miles a week, but in the past couple of years I've had to scale it back as work and family commitments have taken precedence. Lucky now if I get 100 miles in.

I ordered my optimask and my "E" tanks were delivered yesterday.
Since my "E" tanks only came with a regulator capable of 15LPM where are folks finding regulators that go up to 25? Edit: I did find one on Amazon that looks promising that I may opt to get. Had a couple reviews and one from a CH sufferer. Still waiting on my D-3 results Thanks, Mark |

Amazon, Craigs list and Harbor Freight are where people have posted about finding them.

Keep hold of the 15lpm one, always vital to have a spare just in case you ever have an issue with the 25lpm one.
