Title: interaction of verapamil and relpax Post by seniorsub on Feb 19th, 2013 at 7:31pm
Has anyone taken Verapamil AND Relpax in a 24 hour period, every day, for an extended length of time? I have been taking them for about 3 months now and feel really sick, can't eat, and my chronic headaches are worse, (I have been a chronic for about 15 years now). I have tried it all, lithium, O2, etc. to no avail. Now for the last couple of weeks, even the Relpax is not working. I am wondering if the Relpax and Verap. is not a good combo. since it is recommended that the 2 not be taken at the same time.
In addition, anyone know of any specialists in the Balt.-Washington area who deals with this? Thank you. I hope this does not sound too discombobulated, but I am in the midst of a killer attack, 4 hours now. Any suggestions welcome. Seniorsub :-[ |

I take both verapamil every day and either a triptan or an ergotamine from time to time. You ought not mix the two on a daily basis, but I am confused. Are you taking relpax as an abortive or as a preventative? Its best use is an abortive when O2 won't kill the hit. Not as a daily preventative. Have you tried O2? blessings. lance
