I have found Maxalt to be very effective at aborting my cluster headaches. About 80% of the time, it will abort my cluster attack in 30 min or less. Problem is the cost. Typically a 10mg pill will go for $30 or so. I recently got a prescription filled at for 6 doses of 10 mg generic Rizatriptan at Target for under $25 with my BCBSIL discount. The manufacturer is Breckenridge Pharmaceutial bpirx.com
