My clusters were triggered by people who use the word fuck.  Those people shouldn't be allowed!

So not only can people not smoke on this campus, they also cannot smell like smoke? That's the policy?

the policy is don't smoke on campus and if you were smoking off campus on your break, don't come back reeking like smoke (due to me because my CH acts up like crazy around smoke smells)
smelling like smoke from home is usually okay because it doesn't reek as bad as just smoked.

I don't smoke, but if I did and had you as a classmate, I would tell you to fuck off, as you are 1 of many and there is no I in team.  Not a personal attack to you Francis, just generally speaking

I find it difficult to believe that this would be written into a school policy. Maybe it's just me.

I'm usually alright with perfume because ladies tend to wear so little of it, but blokes who use aftershave and then a dose of cologne prove the case for euthenasia.

Can't see it getting written into school policy but still believe that farting in a public place should be covered by the Geneva Convention.

Cruel and unusual punishment, with or without CH.

Thank you Gregg..couldn't have said it better...

In all the years I've been meeting with Chers... this is the FIRST time I've heard this rant (and this language about it). I think the last census was about 50/50 smokers to non-smokers and yet at get togethers no one ever complains about the smokers.. Maybe that's why this guy don't come to our get-togethers.. ummmmm...

this is a school of about 23 people, two of whom are underaged and smoke in their cars.

re smoke trigger: has always bothered me sense I started having cluster and my nuero told me to stay away from it as much as possible.
same with strong perfumes and colonge

further more, why is my need to stay in school and do work without severe distress from a cluster headache, after which I likely will feel run down and not able to drive myself home (causing my parents to come pick me up and a huge logistics issue) less important than the decision of an underaged kid to go smoke a few cigs in his car because it "helps him calm down"

again, small school. Not something that would have to be reviewed by a baord to be implemented.

idorko, how are you going to cope in life to become a productive citizen of society with all of these expectations for others to adhere to your policies?  You really need to think about this now while you are so young and in school.

The 1st floor of department stores all smell like perfume and cologne, as that is where these products are sold.  Granted you will not ever become a department store employee, but are you not going to walk into any of those stores ever or do you have elaborate plans to petition to have all employees and store shoppers remove their smoke filled clothing and not wear perfume/cologne when they know in advance you will be on property?

Smoke-free environments are becoming the norm in most major American cities.  But are you going to limit yourself from ever going to a job, store, restaurant, etc unless smokers change their clothes prior to being in your presence?

It's not going to happen.  It is you that needs to adjust to society, not society adjusting to idorko.  Think about it!

and who gives a shit if two of the students are "under-age" or legal to smoke?  What difference does that make?  Young, old, either age they smell like smoke and it bothers you; that's really the issue.  However you are perseverating on their age which is truly being a nitpick.  My guess is you don;t have many friends if you mistreat people this way.  Are you their nanny or school police?  Are you going to tell their parents?

We all have our limitations due to triggers, etc but do yourself and others around you a favor...try to lighten up Francis.

Might consider reading a book called "Don't sweat the small stuff, It's all small stuff!"  I think you will enjoy this book and that it will help you in life.
