I use this when checking for interactions, it even lets you check to see what foods...the well knowns like citrus etc. and how they can negatively interact with your meds....had a LOT to say on your post!!!  Tramadol is Ultram...

A good reminder to let your GP know what your neuro prescribes and the other way around! ;)

Talk to your doctor before using SUMAtriptan together with traMADol. Combining these medications can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called the serotonin syndrome, which may include symptoms such as confusion, hallucination, seizure, extreme changes in blood pressure, increased heart rate, fever, excessive sweating, shivering or shaking, blurred vision, muscle spasm or stiffness, tremor, incoordination, stomach cramp, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. You should contact your doctor immediately if you experience these symptoms while taking the medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor

I used Ultram (Tramadol)for a few years for nerve damage pain as i was a pilot boat captain in Alaska and it was the the only pain killer that the coast guard would let me use and be safe. Got a bit of relief but not much and didn't use it for CH as in taking it when getting hit but feel that it gave me rebound headaches just from having it in my system...
