Just curious if cluster headaches are covered under the act. I've hit a wall with a testing company for my SAT test this year with my oxygen tank and I don't want to be off base in my mom sends them an email with some text from the ADA.

I would start with your current school. Ask the counselor what kind of accommodations can be made for you. The ADA, for the most part, ensures that reasonable accommodations be made in the case of most chronic or recurrent illness. It's pretty wordy and complicated (imagine) but a phone call might help (from the ada<dot>gov site): Good luck!

I'm going to a private school currently and a rather small one so I am afforded any accomidation I need within reason.
What had happened was I signed up for these two tests and was told I needed to sign up for the special circumstances sections. After a lot of faxing the people at CollegeBoard told my teacher/counselor that even with paper work they may not allow me to have an oxygen tank with me.
I'll hand those numbers off to the people who need them, thanks for the info.

Why not explore the possibility of taking the test in a location that would allow an oxygen tank to be accessible while having the test administered by a proxy? Our son did that many times in high school - he finished his high school via a virtual school, and exams were proxied by a librarian in our home town at the local library.

@Brew, I'll look into it. I know I can take the SATs at my current school, but with my AP test being a week from now I'm not sure if I can make the switch that fast.
Anywho, I'll see what I can do and keep you guys updated.

I agree with them.
Someone handling a hit with o2 in the middle of a quiet room... I cannot imagine much that would be more distracting.   

oh of course, the idea was if I needed it right then and had time to gtfo.
The plan is probably to leave it right in front of the door to the testing room.
