Title: Do ya'll remember Annette?
Post by BarbaraD on May 22nd, 2013 at 10:14am
Well, I've had a couple of messages this morning with a "blue thing" that I can't get to copy (on FB) about her.

Remember her "husband" dying? Well it turns out he weren't her husband and she was treating him with morphine and lots of other stuff. There's a whole "inquiry" thing and if you've got the time .. go read it ..

It's really interesting. If Svenn checks in he can post the link.. I just can't get it to post .. (my electronically challenged brain working overtime again)..

But the one thing I did get out of it was this neuro describing CH... He hit it on the nose.. One of the best descriptions I've heard from a doc in a long time.

Anyhow if you get a chance go to FB and read that thing.. It'll blow your mind..  :-*

That's the problem with a medical practitioner treating ones close to them.  They are way to close to the trees to see the forest, and want to make the pain go away.  Things then spiral totally out of control.  It is unfortunate the first specialist they saw dropped the ball.  He could have put a stop to it at the very beginning if he had.

The Daniel/Annette saga was much, much more than just this.

Annette came here seeking help and I often wonder what today might be like had she found some.

Thankfully, things are very different now.

I remember Annette and reading her posts. I read that whole thing through and it was quite something. It is shocking.

I did read that part about ch, as well.

Really? You don't think she found help? I find that a very interesting take on her time here.

:question

Undoubtably, you have a different memory/take on what happened.  From my fuzzy memory, Annette got some really wonderful support when she first came here (and for a good long whiel afterwards).  It was only later that it went to hell in a handbasket.

I'm confused. To whom is this directed? Not to me, I hope. I think I'm pretty clear on what went down with Annette and her time here.

Noooooooooooooo, not you!   Okay, I had a blonde moment (redheads do that you know).  I quoted the wrong post!  I was responding to Brian.

As in Knock Knee Nguyen?

I still pray for her.  She needs help, but it is far beyond what I can provide.
