Title: Coincidence or not?
Post by Hoppy on May 25th, 2013 at 3:49am
HI All,
I saw my GP last year for a routine check. After having blood
test's and X rays, i went back for my results. I was told i had
Osteoporosis in my spine, and my vitamin D level was just
about nonexistant. He suggested i go to my Pharmacy and
buy some Calcium, Magnesium, and Vitamin D3, and to take
500mg daily of the Calcium & Magnesium, and 5,000iu of Vit D3.
I was allready taking a multivitamin daily, also fish oil concentrate. I still went through 3 month's of hell during the
Spring, but for the first time no Autumn cycle.
I would like to thank "BATCH" for his Vit D3 Regime, which i'm
following to the letter, and praying my CH are gone forever.
Cheers, Hoppy.

I'm not much of a believer in coincidence! 3 years pain free on the Batch regimen. Curious if you've had your D-3 checked lately, would be curious to see it's level now! Hoping like me, you can keep beasty FAR in the rear view mirror.

Hi Joe,
I had a test earlier this year, and my Vitamin D level was said
to be in the normal range. What ever that mean's.?

Hoppy.

From Batch's Page:

The normal reference range for 25(OH)D in the US is 30-100 ng/mL,  However, results from the online survey indicate CH'ers presenting with active CH before starting the anti-inflammatory regimen have tested at an average of 28.7 ng/mL, (71.75 nmol/L), min = 8.4 ng/mL, max = 64.0 ng/mL.   Moreover, CH'ers who have used this regimen and experienced a significant reduction in the frequency and severity of their CH or gone pain free and then had this test have had an average 25(OH)D serum concentration of 81.4 ng/mL. (203.5 nmol/L), min = 34.0 ng/mL, max = 149.0 ng/mL.

Normal is relative with D-3, we need to test in the high end to effectively block the beast.

I'm going to see my GP later this year for blood test's. I'll get
him to write down my D-3 level, and check it against your post.
Will get back to you on this one.

I have not used it, Just mention it because so many others have had success. From a survey a while back this was the formula you should look for:

n-Acetyl-5-Methoxytryptamine.

Actually you should have him write down your 25(OH)D level. D3 is the form of vitamin D you take orally.
