This is the first year I've been on injections. As nice as it was knocking out a beast, I don't want to deal with the constant rebounds and shadows.

Today will be 3 days since I injected with about .2ml of imitrex. I think I've read that you should wait 5 days. Is it worth it to wait or should I try the RC seeds tonight? I'll be dosing about 50-60 seeds. I've also been on the D3 regimen for 3 days.

What i've read on RC seeds, 25 seeds seem to be the norm.

I do not wait.  More speculation than science behind the whole 'detox' thing.

I hit 50+ seeds to try to break my cycle.  Really does work anywhere near as well as the primary ClusterBusters treatments. 

My first dose was 35 seeds. Then 50, then 60. My sweet spot is around 70.

Make sure they're the viable ones. Take your first dose of seeds and put them in a small glass of water. Scoop out any that float - these are hollow and won't do you any good. Dry the rest, then do it again with another batch until you have enough non-floaters. Grind them up and mix the resulting powder with about 2-3 oz. of water and let them steep for a few hours. Add a few drops of lemon juice, mix the whole thing up and slam it down. Have a glass of clean, cold water on hand, because I guarantee you won't like the taste left in your mouth.

Like I said, I started at 35 and have gone as high as 90. 25 isn't going to have much effect, IMHO.

I agree with Brew.  I started at 40 and found that 70 is the number effective for me too.  I soak my seeds in white wine. 

For me, it only took 2 doses, 7 days apart, of 10 seeds each to abort my cycle completely in 2011 (have yet to have another cycle).  Of course I already eat a reduced inflammation diet (no wheat, no cane sugar, very minimal processed food) so that might have made my body more hospitable for effective dosing.

(ground them with a mortar & pestle, soaked in 8 oz. water for 1 hour, strained and drank with an 8oz chaser of OJ)

Thanks guys, It wasn't my first time taking RC Seeds. I have never read of the floating method though, I'll check that out.

This was the worst episodic cluster I've had in a while, so I hadn't read the forum in a while. When I got to reading, I kept seeing this detox process before busting that I was concerned about.

I used 50 RC seeds ground in a pepper grinder after 4 days of detox. In combination with the D3 regimen possible, I haven't had any high KIP headaches and have been PF for the most part. I also use oxygen, but this was my episode that I have been prescribe liquid imitrex. My pharmacy gave me the vials and syringes, and It really knocked them out, but the rebounds aren't worth it to me.

Does anybody use HBWR seeds anymore? I've been using those for the last year, but they will really give me a mind trip.
