How could I be so dumb?     My family and I are in Myrtle Beach for our  vacation.   Unfortunately, CH decided to come along this year. (He was kind enough to stay home last year.)  I was very prepared and dosed Thursday night before leaving Friday.  I had O2 delivered and packed all of my stockpiled Trex and some seeds to dose with again tonight, in hopes of getting a little PF time on the beach. 

Here's where the stupidity comes in...  I LEFT THE SUIT CASE WITH ALL OF IT SITTING ON MY BED!   I'm getting slammed and  am going through what I  had in my purse and my O2 way too quickly.  I swear I could just kick myself for being such an idiot. 

I'd be more likely to leave my clothes at home than any CH meds....   :D

Is there anyone back home who can grab the meds and overnight them to you?

If it is possible, Brew's suggestion could work. And I don't know why, but I'm able to leave the house without everything I need in case of an attack still, even after all these years. It's some kind of denial at work. Prayers for a pf vacay. God bless. lance

I called the Dr. and got a script for dexamethasone and some trex pills.... they are better than nothing.  Walgreen's was very helpful.  I hate taking it but I just can't take all the hits.... I'm getting to be a wimp in my old age. 

The bag I left on the bed at home also had all of my toiletries in it... shampoo, soap, make up, ect.  The meds were the only things that were hard to replace. 

Damn, Jeannie!!!  Glad you were able to get a hold of the Dr and Walgreens helped you out.  Hope you are able to enjoy your vacation!

Please don't beat yourself up about this. As frustrating and painful it is, remember you did nothing to deserve this pain. None of us did. It certainly sucks that your vacation is going to be clouded by pain and misery, but after reading your posts, you are anything but stupid. We all do things we wish we could do differently. If I miss a dose of verapamil, I pay for it in kip 8s the next day. We all do stuff we know better than to do. My wish for you is the cycle stops -- YESTERDAY! Take as much care as you can and I hope the pharmacy and doc where you are can help and know we are thinking about you.

Thanks everyone.   My meds are doing their job.   Only heavy shadows yesterday.  Thanks for all the well wishes and kind words.  I truly appreciate them!
