Title: My Morning Ritual Post by Jim Tew on Jul 24th, 2013 at 7:42am
The morning ritual. The one on the far right is magnesium orotate which is more expensive than the typical Magnesium oxide BUT! The oxide form has very low bioavailability and can be(and in my case, is) a contributor to severe diarrhea.
I went with the brand names on the Centrum Silver and the Citrical; the fish oil and D3 are generic (Sam's Club). The orotate you will have to shop online for. I "relearned" an interesting lesson last night. I keep my main O2 in the family room behind the couch. Sometimes I get in a hurry to get back to bed and I do not maintain the oxygen long enough past the abort---and I invariably get another headache a few hours later. Last night, I was trying to drain that tank of O2, so that I could swap the regulator to a new tank and swap that tank out this morning at my supplier. So, I stayed on O2 well past the abort and, surprise---no second CH a few ours later. And I really do not remember how to upload a photo. |

Welcome back, Jim. And condolences on what prompted you to return. That said, you seem to have things well in hand. Are you using anything other than O2 and otc's? One newish development is our discovery of how well energy drinks work in combo with O2-Monster, Red Bull, etc. The taurine appears to kickstart the caffeine and makes aborts faster and longer lasting. Others, like you, have discovered staying on O2 longer than the hit is also helpful. Hasn't worked so well for me but it does for others. God bless. lance

I just bought a case of Monster drinks a couple of weeks back in anticipation. I always have one in the car in a cooler. :D
