Probably this has been asked before on the boards, but anyway. Which eye is affected by your CH? I wonder if right or left is prevalent among us sufferers, and whether it is random or if there is a reason for it. In my case, it is my right eye.

The ongoing CH.com Survey at the left side of this page of 12,026 CH'ers lists the following on which side:

Left side ONLY 4281 35%
Right side ONLY 5295 44%
Both sides 2310 19%

Dr. Rozen's Linde Survey of 1134 CH'ers in 2008 found the following:

Pain is on left side of head/face 501 44.18 %
Pain is on right side of head/face 557 49.12 %
Pain switches from left to right side 104 9.17 %
Pain on both sides of head/face 35 3.09 %

Yeah I'm a lefty and I'm also left handed. Now who has CH's that are on the same side as the hand your are

Good question about right-handed/left-handed. The CH hits me in the right eye, and I am right-handed for everything except for using pen or pencil.

my sons right sided. also he has a small deformity in his ear on that side as well as some odd structures.

Holy smokes! I have a small point on the cartilage on my left ear. Weird! :D

Left handed- left side CH's. I am new to the site. But it is obvious by all of the posts and information that you guys suffer as much as I do and truly understand the pain! I finally feel like someone understands!

Thank god for you guys. I got oxygen last week and did not know how to use it to help until I found it on this site! I had a lady at work tell me that she "pops an advil" for her headaches. I haven't decided if I am going to forgive her yet! Thanks. :-?
