Title: My new book Post by Callico on Oct 5th, 2013 at 2:50am
Sleep deprivation is such a wonderful thing! i was editing my book this afternoon when I returned from my Dr's appt. Between little sleep the last several nights due to CH, plus the exhaustion from the trip to my Dr. and my GBS, I went to sleep with my laptop in my lap. When I woke up i found my wife had moved my laptop to prevent me dropping it, and my book was 1456 pages longer than it had been. i went to sleep with my finger on the "enter" button, and just kept adding blank pages! Better than delete.

I have everything saved. Because I had done some significant editiing prior to falling asleep I did not want to close it out and start over. By highlighting and deleting pages I've cleared most of them off, but holding the buttons down and waiting for the pages to scroll I'm getting about 55 pages/minute. Watching that nearly put me to sleep again, so i quit. 298 more pages to clear. ;D
Thought you might get a chuckle. Best, Jerry |

Barbara,
I'm finding editing to be much more difficult than writing the book! it is almost as if I'm rewriting it, and is some places, I am. I'm still finding it a very rewarding experience, and really wish I had started this years ago. Probably didn't have the maturity to sit down and do it then, though. jc |
