Title: Question on O2
Post by TJMBeav on Oct 11th, 2013 at 11:39am
Damn, getting hammered again - verap  quit  working.  I have a question on O2.  Ordered the mask and have access to welders O2 - but the regulators only read psig.  Was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate of what pressure would relate to 15 LPM on standard welding regulators?  I am sure somebody has done it.  Thanks in advance for any help.

Sure hope the Pred taper works - out of shots, none coming for awhile and working 6-7 days a week  :'(

There is no direct PSI to LPM conversion.

Regulate the flow of O2 so the bag is not going flat while you are breathing from it. You don't want to wait for it to refill...nor do you want it to overfill and waste O2.

Good advice.  Will probably waste a bit of O2 just to make sure I am getting enough.  Only time I tried O2 I did not have the right set up.  Truly hoping I get the response that many people rave about - my bad for not being prepared, but the Verap really seemed to have been  working.  Then - WHAM - 3-5 per day, night time, morning, afternoon - all at least a 7 on the KIP when I try to fight through them.  All out of imetrix (more coming, but a couple weeks out)  NP says no more till I see a doctor - but who is going to see me in Battle Mt Nevada?????  Plus, in the end stages of a major project and working my ass off - but makin $$$$.  Gotta survive for another two months.

Thanks for the tip
