Never had a problem with smells or odors, of any kind. Hell I even smoked for a lot of years.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Oddly enough, Iwill occasionally use a cigarette to kick a lingering shadow into gear so I can abort the hit fully. I found it, rarely but once in awhile, the cigarette actually aborted the attack. Not recommended and your mileage may vary. blessings. lance

I'm fortunate in that smells were not a trigger for me. Non smoker here....but REALLY, I AM a ch'er! ;D

I'm not a smoker, never have. Yes cig. smoke, even the smell on clothing will trigger a CH.
Scented sprays, candles, soaps, any synthetic scents including perfume will trigger a CH for me. Actually they are huge triggers when i'm in the 'zone'. When my CH cycle stops, these scents are perfectly fine for to be around.. weird!  :-?

Not so weird! ;) On cycle alcohol, especially red wine and grain alcohols, will send me into a nasty attack. Off cycle they don't bother me at all.

Guess the right answer is "for some".

Not really a trigger for me, but then I really don't like tobacco smoke so I won't hang around it at all to find out.

Cigarette smoke is definitely my #1 trigger, but oddly enough alcohol doesn't seem to effect me. :-?
