Just wanted to start the discussion on the annual St. Louis meet and greet.

Since last year's move to the downtown area casino seemed to be well received, what say we repeat? MLK weekend or another? If nothing changes, I'd be ok with any date.  :-/

I for one am looking forward to the annual event. Chime in and let's get the ball rolling!

We're planning on it too.....just waiting for the details.   :)

So far only 7 and one "hmmmm" from Joe and Christy.

    For those of you who've been at these get-togethers, you already know what a great time we have.  For those who are new,  we have so much fun and if you've never met another clusterhead, it's really time you did.  There is nothing like talking to others in a group who totally understand you and what you've been through.  Of course we don't talk about CH all the time.  We take trips to see different attractions, find special places to eat lunch and dinner, sit in the bar or general seating area and laugh and talk.

     If you're on the fence, trust me you'll have a great time and you'll be so glad you decided to come.

The first time I ever met another clusterhead  was in Atlanta, Ga. for an OUCH convention.  Elaine picked me up from the airport and by the time we got to the first red light leaving the airport we were friends for life.  That was in 2000 and the friends I've made since then I wouldn't trade for anything.

On Hotels.com... Rooms at the Lumiere are $107/night for Friday/Saturday.  It is listed as a special price.  They are $129/$179 on the Lumiere site.  If anyone is really planning to go I would suggest booking that immediately.... you can always cancel. 

If you signed up for the mychoice card last stay you may get a '2 free nights' voucher in the mail, but they typically come the last week of each month for the next month. 

Other decent hotels in the immediate area are similarly priced, without direct access to the casino.   My vote would be to stay at the Lumiere. 

For Entertainment... January 18th there is MMA at the Lumiere.  If you are an MMA fan these are top-notch regional productions.  I am up for this if anyone else wishes to go...

OK....I'm booked for arrival Thursday 1-16, departing Sunday 1-19.

Using Hotels.com the average per night is around 90 bucks......which they claim is a limited time price.

The hockey game sounds good to me.....but there is time to decide that.

I'd be up for another trip to the shooting range south of town....anyone else?

don't know yet at this point.  Would love to be there, and will make every effort!  Miss my clusterbuds!
