for 2013.
Selfie originated in Australia with a young drunk first using
the word to describe a self-portrait photograph of a cut lip
when he tripped on a set of steps.

The 'selfie' was, in fact, invented in Vegas as was the phones used to take them. Vegas quickly realized both were stupid ideas and quit taking credit for them.

On this subject, today's news reported that AAA has issued a danger warning about taking 'selfies' while driving!

Damn Barbara you called that one! :P :P

You never know what we Norwegians can do, I might try digging when spring comes.
First man to the South Pole was from Norway, Roald Amundsen, but I bet Hoppy will insist he had Australien ancesters  :)
