Title: Polar vortex wreaking havoc on my head Post by JHK07 on Jan 17th, 2014 at 8:50am
Just a silly theory and a rant. Heads been bugging me ever since that cold snap two weekends ago. Last 3 evenings, a 5 pm'er, an 8 pm'er then a 10 pm'er( yes, like clock work).... WTF ???.... I never get 3 in the same day. Constant shadow, and knot in the neck.... Still feel good though, remembering all them pain free days !!!! Can't wait for the next chunk of polar vortex to break off that they are calling for..

You know, it just might be related...but then again, it might not. That's the way of the beast. I do much better in the cold, even the polar vortex cold, than I do with heat. For you, maybe it's the opposite. Sorta like those who take hot showers or who overexert intentionally, vs the ice pak crowd. Be alert and stay armed! blessings. lance

I've been avoiding coffee at work so I can drink a strong cup at night. 2 nights ago I was outside breathing the cold air trying to get some relief. Within minutes I was in the shower(hot) pulling my earlobe back so the "jetted" shower head could hit my head/jaw/neck just right. It worked, or beast left.
Heck, I've noticed my tonsil is even big and gargling hot coffee make my head better for seconds !!! Been a screwed up week, but doesn't have me down yet. And yea, I can get them in heat too. Suffered through some doozies on the golf course before..... You know, relaxation time... |
