From Dennis (Happy Pappy). It was so great to hear from him and we talked for a long time. He's got a lot of medical problems, but sounded great and upbeat as usual.

For those who've been around here for a long long time, you know what a great feeling it is to hear from (or see) an OLD Clusterbud. (this is me being mushy).. It reminds us of all the friends we've built up over the years on this board and what it's done to enrich our lives.

When I got off the phone with Pappy, I just sat and smiled (remembering Nashville and the bench he'd made and donated to the convention that I WON!). I went in the living room, turned that darn bench over and looked at his logo (a happy face with Happy Pappy on it) and grinned some more.

Anyhow, it made my day..  :-*

:) I remember how great it was to meet you, and a bunch of other CH's, at the 1st OUCH gathering in Vegas and then again when you came by my house and we went to lunch. 2 of the best days of my life. Luv ya Barb. :-*

I'm so glad you all have heard from Tim.  He's been on my prayer list for a long time now, and I had been wondering about him.  This CH family kind of gets under your thick hide, doesn't it?  I know this place has certainly enriched my life.

Speaking of Pappys, I was thinking about SailPappy the other day.  Anyone know how he's doing?
Vegas - the t-shirt company took all of the misspelled "Oganization" t-shirts and threw them in their $5 a piece box so I bought all that were my size.  I think about you guys every time I put one on.

Vegas was really an experience.. and I'm with you Bob on the T-shirts. I still laugh every time I look at mine. It's a keeper..

Sorry about the Dennis (and where is he?) I knew better.. Guess I was just excited to hear from Pappy.

Haven't heard from Sail Pappy in years. He got remarried and then disappeared. Guess he's still honey-mooning.. Last time I saw him was in Englewood FL when a bunch of us met for a Sat nite cookout.

Bob G.. I luvs you too.. And I still think about those trees in your yard.. someday, I'm gonna get me some of those..  :)

But it is so GREAT hearing from old friends.. We forget how much we miss them until we hear from them.  :-*

The last I heard from SailPappy he was living in North Carolina near Asheville.  Cat might know more.  I've not heard from him in several years.  i tried to contact him once when I was visiting the in-laws in
Asheville, but I didn't get an answer.
