I know over the years, many of you here were very supportive to myself and my nephew Jacob.
Here is a message from Jen, Jacob's Mom, my niece.
After 4 ˝ long years of hard battle with disease, our Super Hero was called home last night and is now free of pain in Heaven. Jacob was at home with our family last night when his heart suddenly gave in and his body could not fight any longer and he passed quickly in Mike’s arms. Moments before he passed, he was laughing and having fun with his big brother Zack and his little sister Isabella and he was happy.
Our 10 year old angel lived an incredibly full life in a very short amount of time. Always smiling and concerned about his friends and family, this beautiful boy brought so much joy to our lives and taught us so much. Jacob and our entire family have been so blessed by the outpouring of love, prayers and support over the last 5 years. Family, friends, medical staff, school faculty, neighbors, strangers, police departments, co-workers, and complete strangers….and the list goes on. So many people offering so much strength to help us through this fight.
Jacob is now at peace, pain free and in heaven with his angel friends who have passed before him and his Grandpa Tashi. He can now swim to his heart’s content and enjoy so many of the “simple things” that made him smile so often.
God bless all of you who have done so much for us over the years and who continue to pray for us. We are forever grateful.

Jacob had his bone marrow transplant in 2009.
