Half a score and seven years ago our forefather sought this place and, not finding it, he created it and brought forth this site conceived in Liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all ClusterHeads are created equal.

We are now engaged in a great civil war testing whether this site, or any site so conceived and dedicated, can long endure. We have come to dedicate a portion of this place as a resting place for those who have struggled that this site might live on. It is altogether fitting and proper that this should be so.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate - we can not consecrate - we can not hallow - this ground as brave ClusterHeads and their Supporters take what they need and move to FB and its like as better people, more able to cope with this dread disease, and enjoy a life truly enriched. The world will little note, nor long remember, what we post here but it is for us, the caring, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought so bravely here have thus far so nobly advanced.

It is for us to be here dedicated to the great task of seeing that this honored site, under DJ, shall have a new birth of freedom - and that the dedication of ClusterHeads, by ClusterHeads, for ClusterHeads, shall not perish from the earth.

Brian, very well said, Sir!  As an Illinoisan, i can assure you Abe would have been proud of you.

Opus, I thought you got healed or something.  haven't seen you around in a long, long time.  i'll admit to lurking more than participating.  I've been struggling with health issues outside of CH and haven't really had the energy to do a lot that I used to do, although I try to do some one FB.  Haven't even gone there much of late.

I am grateful for all of you who have been here for me in the past, and I'm sorry I've not been stroking with my oar the way I ought.  Instruct the hortator to increase the beat.
