Early this week my neighbor drove up to my house and barely made it in the door (how she drove still beats me) - she was SICK with a cold and was about to go into pneumonia... running a high fever.

Of course I asked if I could take her to ER... NO NO NO!! Ok, so I put her to bed and started the fluids and the Home Remedy cough syrup (she was really crouping). And of course the chicken soup. Oh, she had an upset stomach also, so it was trash can time along with it...

Two days and she started feeling human and actually ate solid foods.. Well yesterday she went home feeling much better.

About an hour after she left -(ok you guessed it... ::) ) my stomach started cramping and I doubled over in pain..

spent a lovely night in the "reading room".. Don't think I got the "crouping part", but I darn sure got the stomach stuff..  :(

So today I'll be drinking a lot of liquids and not doing much else..

that stuff musta been "airbourne" cause I swear I BLEACHED everything..

But tomorrow will be better.. :)

I'm much better today..  :)  Can't keep an old broad down.. And chicken soup works every time.. with lots of pepper..

Ya'll have a good weekend. The US is closed down till after Monday ... Got a memorial thing to go to Monday night. We're honoring our Vets in Gladewater. I do good at those things till they play Taps... then it's Kleenex time.
